Why We Love Hemp

We love working with hemp and hemp-blended fabrics. Hemp is a remarkable natural fibre — strong, comfortable, breathable and incredibly versatile, making it ideal for everyday clothing that is designed to last.

Hemp is also a naturally efficient crop. Compared with many conventional fibre crops, hemp can require significantly less water to grow, while its relatively short growing cycle means it can be planted and harvested within a matter of months, depending on the climate and growing conditions.

Hemp plants also absorb significant amounts of carbon dioxide as they grow, helping to store carbon in the plant and soil. Combined with hemp’s durability and the potential to produce long-lasting garments, this makes hemp an exciting choice for a more considered approach to clothing.

We work with 100% hemp fabrics as well as carefully selected hemp blends, including hemp and organic cotton, hemp and bamboo, and hemp linen. Wherever possible, we look for quality European hemp fabrics and work with suppliers who share our commitment to more responsible textile production.
